A WORD FROM THE FOUNDER
Whether a born and raised Michigander, or an out-of-state visitor, we all have that favorite Michigan lake that stirs our memories and emotions in ways that others do not understand. We’ve spent countless summers at cottages tucked away near the shores of its calming and healing waters, met our first loves and last loves there, made those nightly ice cream runs in the boat, or worked that summer job on the docks that helped us pay our way through college. We all have that lake we flee to for long weekend getaways, camping trips, or summer vacations, and we love the feeling we have when we begin heading in whichever direction takes us there.
Since birth, I have spent my summers on the shores of Lake Huron in the Les Cheneaux Islands, located in the eastern Upper Peninsula. It’s always been a special place for those of us blessed to know about it. I started What’s Your Lake with the intent on creating a product that allows you to showcase your love for whichever lake you call yours. Whether it’s a Great Lake or an inland lake, take pride in letting others know What’s Your Lake with the many product offerings that will continually evolve with the times.
